Role & responsibilities

Functional deliveries:

Production :

1. Customer Requirements are to be met

2. Authority to stop shipment and stop production to correct quality problems

3. To execute weekly & daily production plan

4. Ensure Raw Material availability in one day advance

5. Ensure effective daily machine scheduling

6. To monitor production on hourly basis.

7. Resetting tools & machines to solve quality issues

8. Facilitate the implementation of the kaizens

9. To verify the housekeeping checklist on day to day basis, implement & Train the departmental employees for 5 " S"

10. Co-ordinate the activity for common department goal.

11. Train departmental employees for multi-skilling & maintaining highest flexibility within the department

12. Impart on--the-- job trainings & develop Internal faculty to implement on-- the- job training.

13. Preparation of flexibility Skill Analysis.

Quality :

15. To confirm first off inspection

16. Execute process & quality control plan

17. To check that calibrated equipments are available

18. Execute autonomous maintenance activities in dept like time reduction for cleaning, inspection, retightening,

lubrication.

19. To reduce break down & defect . To prevent oil leakages

20. To attend minor machine problems

21. In case of major breakdown rescheduling practices & plan departmental activities accordingly.

23. Analyse shift performance covering productivity, machine down time, product rejection data etc.

1. Environment, Health, Safety:

• Enforcement of all general and departmental Safety Rules and Regulations.
• Investigate accidents(Minor/Major) and near- misses and Action Plan for non-occurance .
• Detect and report Dangerous and Potentially hazard to Deptt.Head .
• Ensure good /proper housekeeping & Upkeep
• Daily safety inspections of Tools /Equip'ts to ensure safe working in the Deptt.
• Daily checking of lighting (all the lights in Deptt ) to check adequate illumination for Operation Safety.
• Daily Visual Checks of lifting appliances and its acessories
• Ensure that Worker have weared necessary PPE,while on job . .
