    BTech / Product courses / other relevant courses
  • Additional certifications preferred:

    Results-oriented with a track record of delivering similar experience
  • Preferred geography of previous work experience:

    India / Europe / APAC / US
  • Language requirements:

    Ability to write and speak fluently in English.
  • Communication:

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Technology proficiency preferred (non-mandatory) :

    Selenium, playwright



Key responsibility areas:

Acies is seeking a meticulous and experienced Product Testing Specialist to join our dynamic Product Development team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products across the treasury, risk, finance, and regulatory compliance domains. This role encompasses the full test lifecycle, from strategic planning and test case design to script creation, execution, and comprehensive reporting.


Key responsibility areas:

  • Test Life Cycle Management: Own and manage the end-to-end testing process for assigned product modules and features, ensuring alignment with product development timelines and quality gates.
  • Test Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with Product Managers, and Developers to understand product requirements, functional specifications, and business objectives, translating them into comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans.
  • Test Case Creation: Design, develop, and maintain clear, concise, and effective test cases (both manual and automated) based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring maximum test coverage.
  • Test Script Creation: Develop and implement automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency and repeatability of testing efforts.
  • Test Execution: Execute various types of tests, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT), meticulously documenting results and identifying defects.
  • Defect Management: Log, track, and retest defects using a defined defect management process, working closely with development teams for timely resolution.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate detailed test reports, including test progress, defect trends, and quality metrics. Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to stakeholders regarding product quality and release readiness.
  • Test Environment Management: Contribute to the setup and maintenance of robust and consistent test environments.
  • Collaboration: Actively participate in product design reviews, sprint planning meetings, and retrospectives, providing valuable input from a quality assurance perspective.
  • Domain Expertise: Continuously build and leverage domain knowledge in treasury, risk, finance, and regulatory compliance to develop more effective and relevant test scenarios.

    • Work permit requirements:

      Either Indian Citizen or having valid work permit to work in India
    • Period of engagement:

      Full-time position
    • Probation period:

      6 months
    • Compensation:

      Compensation varies depending on the skill, fitment and role played by the person. Compensation discussions will take place post the selection process.
    • Performance incentives:

      Typically, all roles at Acies have a performance incentive. Specific aspects will be discussed during the compensation discussion
    • Leave:

      22 working days a year. Additional leaves for national holidays, sick leaves, maternity and paternity, bereavement and studies vary based on the city and country of engagement.

    Required Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in

      Python

      (mandatory).
    • Hands-on experience with

      PyTest

      for writing and organizing test cases.
    • Solid understanding of

      Playwright

      for browser automation (or similar tools like Selenium).
    • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
    • Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
    • Good understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
    • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.



    Selection process:

    We seek to be transparent during the selection process. While the actual process may vary from the process indicated below, the key steps involved are as follows:

    • Interview:

      There are expected to be at least 3 rounds of interviews. The number of interview rounds may increase depending on the criticality and seniority of the role involved.
