AI Assistant for Research using state-of-the-art language models (ChatGPT for Research)

Our team of experts in design, front-end, full-stack engineering, and machine learning is already in place, but we're always on the lookout for new talent to help us take things to the next level. What you’ll do:

• Assess and prioritize bugs and feature requests based on impact on users, business goals, and overall product quality.
• Conduct thorough product QC of new and existing features, including both manual checks and AI-assisted testing workflows.
• Design, implement, and maintain evaluation frameworks (Evals) for AI and LLM-powered features to ensure reliability, accuracy, and safety.
• Use AI tools and LLMs to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive checks, and generate insights while still applying strong human judgment.
• Work closely with engineering to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and ensure that bugs are resolved to a high quality bar before release.
• Gather quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources, such as user feedback, surveys, sales metrics, support tickets, and usage analytics.
• Track and evaluate product performance using key KPIs like user engagement, retention, funnel conversion, and revenue.
• Communicate complex data and model insights in a clear, structured, and actionable manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Our ideal candidate would have:

• 2+ years of experience in product analysis, product operations, or a closely related role.
• Hands-on experience across multiple stages of the product lifecycle (discovery, spec, development, QA, launch, and post-launch iteration).
• Strong proficiency with analytics and visualization tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics, as well as SQL and Excel/Sheets.
• Demonstrated ability to research deeply, break down ambiguous problems, and identify product and workflow pain points with clear evidence.
• Experience in product quality control (QC), including designing and running manual test plans, writing test cases, and validating fixes with engineering.
• Familiarity with using AI and LLMs to support product workflows—such as building Evals, designing prompts, running test suites, and doing AI-assisted QC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex data and model behavior into clear, actionable recommendations.
• A strong sense of curiosity, bias for action, and a habit of digging into data and user behavior to uncover actionable insights.
• Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering, support, GTM).
• Solid understanding of LLMs and generative AI concepts and the risks/trade-offs involved in deploying them in user-facing products.
