Product Manager

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough product and supplier research, obtaining competitive quotations, and supporting the end-to-end sourcing process. This role involves close collaboration with our German team and the Supply Chain Management (SCM) department to ensure the timely, cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research to identify suitable products and suppliers aligned with company requirements and industry trends.
• Collaborate closely with the German team to understand product specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Prepare and present comprehensive supplier comparison reports and recommendations for internal review.
• Coordinate with the SCM team to align sourcing strategies with logistics, inventory, and production planning.
• Maintain up-to-date supplier databases, agreements, and related documentation.
• Monitor and assess supplier performance to ensure adherence to company standards and quality expectations.
• Support new product development efforts by sourcing samples and onboarding new suppliers.
• Address and resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, or pricing discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Stay informed about sourcing best practices, market trends, and relevant regulatory updates.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management—preferably in an international setting.
• Strong research, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with procurement tools and ERP systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.

Preferred:

• Experience working with suppliers in Germany, Europe, or China.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and international trade compliance.
• Relevant certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management).
