2D Artist

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and imaginative 2D Artist with over 2 years of professional experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in 2D art creation, digital painting, and image manipulation. This role requires a solid understanding of visual design, character development, and the ability to enhance or manipulate visual assets for various multimedia projects. Key Responsibilities: Design and produce high-quality 2D assets including characters, environments, props, and UI elements. Perform advanced image manipulation including photo bashing, compositing, and retouching. Modify and enhance existing visual assets while maintaining consistency in style and quality. Collaborate with game designers, animators, and developers to ensure seamless integration of artwork into projects. Follow and maintain visual guidelines, ensuring all artwork aligns with the creative direction. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative visual ideas. Prepare artwork for animation and implementation in production pipelines. Maintain organized layers, files, and asset libraries for team use. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience in 2D art creation and image manipulation. Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant design tools. Proven ability in photomanipulation, retouching, matte painting, and compositing techniques. Strong eye for color, composition, perspective, lighting, and detail. Ability to work in a range of styles from realistic to stylized. Excellent communication skills and ability to accept and apply feedback.
