2D Artist

As a 2D Artist at Chicmic Studios, you will be an integral part of the creative team, contributing your artistic skills to produce visually appealing 2D assets for games, apps, and digital media projects. Working collaboratively with designers, developers, and animators, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the visual style of various projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and produce a wide range of 2D assets including characters, User Interface elements, Backgrounds, and Props. - Create concept sketches and illustrations based on project requirements. - Collaborate with team members to ensure cohesive visual storytelling. - Optimize art assets for different platforms such as mobile, web, and desktop. - Revise and refine artwork based on feedback for continuous improvement. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field. - Proven experience in 2D art and animation, preferably in the gaming industry or app development. - Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma, and other relevant design software. - Familiarity with AI Image generators like Midjourney, Leonardo.ai, or Stable Diffusion. - Experience with Frame by Frame animations for characters, objects, and effects. - Strong portfolio demonstrating 2D art and animation work. - Creative vision, attention to detail, and excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Knowledge of UI/UX design principles specific to Game Design. - Familiarity with 3D art software like Blender, zBrush, and Maya is a plus.
