How You’ll Make An Impact
- Oversee all procurement activities, ensuring they are appropriately regulated and in line with set rules, regulations and policies.
- Developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs, and overseeing the procurement process from order placement to delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the supply chain.
- Assess and mitigate risks within the supply chain, including identifying potential disruptions and implementing contingency plans.
- Handling import & domestic procurement. Material Planning & tracking based on continuous production plan.
- Purchase and logistics management of various commodities.
- Conduct a thorough project review to establish delivery schedules / project timelines.
- Conduct daily progress reviews of works and delivery status of materials.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that incoming materials meet quality standards.
- Oversee the billing process for all procured items, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to understand their procurement needs.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
- Candidate must have 3-6 years of experience in Procurement at MNC in relevant industry preferably from GIS manufacturing company.
- Knowledge of import and export Material Handling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Sound interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of SAP MM. Well versed with MS Office. Strong Follow up and Expedite Materials skills.
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawing.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
