Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, packaging, machinery, and other operational supplies. The ideal candidate will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, ensure cost-effective purchasing, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, lead, and execute strategic sourcing plans for procurement of milk, feed, packaging materials, machinery, and other dairy-related supplies.
• Identify and evaluate vendors based on quality, price, delivery time, and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to optimize costs and enhance value.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production/warehouse for timely restocking.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier data.
• Collaborate closely with production, quality control, finance, and logistics departments.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, and quality standards.
• Analyze market trends to forecast demands and reduce procurement risks.
• Implement sustainable sourcing practices aligned with company values.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with dairy/agricultural supply chains is highly desirable.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with vendor development in rural/agro-based environments.
• Familiarity with local procurement regulations and dairy industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
• Fluency in Hindi and English; knowledge of local dialects is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
