Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day purchasing activities, negotiate with suppliers, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards. This role is perfect for someone with 1 - 3 years of experience looking to grow in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate suppliers, products, and services to ensure cost-effectiveness and high quality.
  • Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with vendors to achieve favourable outcomes and cost reductions.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while identifying and onboarding new vendors.
  • Track supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
  • Analyse market trends, procurement data, and spending to identify opportunities for improvement and savings.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Operations) to understand needs and align procurement strategies.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities, savings achieved, and vendor performance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures.
  • Support contract documentation, renewals, and basic negotiations under guidance.
  • Assist during internal and external audits by providing procurement-related records and clarifications.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or a similar role.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exposure in supplier negotiation and contract management.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices is a plus.
  • Experience working with multiple vendors and service providers.
  • Exposure to audit or compliance-driven environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
