Job Requirements
We are seeking a Process Engineer to design, optimize, and scale critical operational workflows with a focus on efficiency, quality, and safety. This role collaborates across engineering, production, quality, and other support teams to enable seamless operations.
Responsibilities
- Process Design & Optimization Design, develop, and continuously improve operational processes using tools like process flow diagrams (PFDs), simulations, and modelling software across all production stages.
- Performance Monitoring & Analytics Track and analyze key process metrics (e.g., OEE, yield, throughput), perform root-cause analysis, and implement targeted improvements.
- Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement Apply methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen to troubleshoot and drive process enhancements.
- Compliance Conduct risk assessments, enforce compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g. IMS).
- Documentation & Training Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, training guides, process criteria, and ensure knowledge is accessible.
- Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with production, quality assurance, Engineering & other support functions to ensure smooth process integration and scalable production.
- KPI Management
Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes.
Managing projects related to process improvement, including timelines, budgets, and risk assessments. Drive Cost reduction culture and work on reducing the manufacturing cost.
Qualifications/ Experience
- B. Tech Ceramic Technology / Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
- B. Tech from Ceramic Technology would be an added advantage.
- 8-10 years of Process improvement experience in an industrial environment.
- Six Sigma Green/ Black belt certification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven mindset and comfort with statistical tools.
- Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma, SPC, or Kaizen methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and cross‑team collaboration skills.
- Experience with process control systems, PLC automation and/or manufacturing execution systems beneficial.
