The Process Engineer will be responsible for handling and improving load cell manufacturing processes and supporting new product development initiatives, particularly for digital-oriented products. This role involves close coordination with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Production, and Electrical, ensuring seamless new product introduction (NPI) and process enhancement activities within the electronics manufacturing environment. Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities: The Process Engineer will: Lead New Product Implementation (NPI) activities, including transferring new products to mass production by guiding the production team and coordinating with all support teams. Act as the main contact point for R&D and Electrical teams. Prepare and update Work Instructions, SOPs, Part Numbers (PNs), Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Product Change Orders (PCOs) , and verify engineering drawings. (Approx. 30% of time) Conduct faulty analysis of PCBA (Analog & Digital PCBs) and perform Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) for product or process failures. Handle product qualification activities. (20% of time) Drive process automation initiatives , including the design and implementation of jigs and fixtures to improve process efficiency and reliability. (20% of time) Provide ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) training and develop digital setups for production operators to maintain high product quality standards. (10% of time) Support the local sales team with troubleshooting and technical assistance related to digital products. (10% of time) Participate in Cross-Functional Team (CFT) meetings, supporting continuous improvement activities and process optimization efforts. Knowledge of in-circuit testing jigs , EEPROM programming , and communication interfaces such as RS232, RS485, and IC . Exposure to IPC 610 & 620 standards , breadboard circuit development, and embedded systems. Understanding of connectors, fastness, calibration, and electrical testing for noise issues . Performance Objectives (KPIs): Accurate and timely fault analysis of Analog & Digital PCBs . Implementation of process improvements and automation projects . Successful execution of new product introductions (NPI) into mass production. Effective collaboration with production and R&D teams to reduce process-related issues. Main Requirements: Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics & Communication (ECE) , Instrumentation & Control (I&C) , Electronics & Instrumentation (E&I) , Electrical & Electronics (EEE) , or Mechatronics . Experience: 4-7 years of relevant experience in Electronics Manufacturing or Process Engineering . Must have prior experience in electronics or mechatronics product manufacturing companies . Exposure to SMT processes , PCB design , and New Product Introduction (NPI) is essential. Candidates from mobile manufacturing companies or Syrma are not eligible . The role involves supervising production operatives , managing daily operations, optimizing resource utilization, and driving continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor. Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities Production Planning & Execution (40%) Plan weekly production schedules and order items based on the monthly production plan. Ensure that all production activities are completed on time and that deliveries meet the required deadlines. Daily Work Management (30%) Conduct daily production reviews to monitor progress, identify improvement areas, and take corrective actions as needed. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that targets for delivery, quality, and productivity are consistently met. Cost & Resource Control (10%) Monitor and control the consumption and cost of tools, materials, and other production resources. Strive to maintain cost efficiency while ensuring smooth production operations. Shopfloor Management (10%) Maintain high standards of 5S, discipline, and workplace organization on the shop floor.
