Job Description

As a Sales Engineer for Enterprise Networking, your role involves working closely with the BU Head and sales team to create compelling sales pitches. You will be responsible for qualifying potential customers and providing technical pre-sales solutions to prospective clients. Your duties also include participating in conference calls and customer visits to present network solution designs and conduct presentations. Key Responsibilities: - Provide presentations, training, consultation, and sales support to the sales team and existing clients - Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers, actively seeking new sales opportunities - Collaborate with a presales team of Networking OEMs such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Arista, Lavelle, etc for joint bids and prebid query clarifications - Support sales teams with Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for networking opportunities, including Proof of Concepts (POCs) with OEMs and coordination with the delivery team - Review client terms and conditions of contracts during the bid stage for financial, risk management, legal, and technical aspects - Work with internal governance team members to review contract terms, conditions, and delivery risk mitigation approach - Collate and compile costing from various internal and external parties - Write proposals and initiate the approval process for bid submissions, updating stakeholders as required - Develop a successful bid strategy, highlighting unique selling points, profit margins, and understanding clients" specific requirements - Respond to clients and stakeholders" queries before, during, and after bid submissions for networking products/solutions - Brief delivery and operations teams on carrying out project work for the designed networking solutions Qualifications: - Diploma or BE/B-Tech in Computer Science or Electronics or equivalent - Professional Networking Technologies certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent In terms of relevant experience, you should have about 5-9 years of experience in Networking Products and Solutions, specifically in the pre-sale of Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba products. You should possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. A strong customer focus is essential, along with the ability to close deals by understanding RFP requirements, clients, and competitors. Being self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented is crucial, along with proficiency in MS Office and related applications.,
