Job Title Junior Architect Job Location Shimla Description We are currently seeking a Junior Architect to support the technical execution of urban infrastructure projects. This entry-level role involves assisting senior experts and the Team Leader in engineering or architectural tasks, including field data collection, analysis, report drafting, and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in urban infrastructure and be proficient in relevant computer applications, with a strong willingness to learn and contribute to project success Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing architectural designs and construction drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D. Support the development of infrastructure layouts, site plans, and elevation drawings. Collaborate with civil engineers, planners, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and compliance. Participate in site visits, surveys, and inspections to gather data and monitor progress. Prepare documentation including BOQs, specifications, and reports. Ensure adherence to local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards. Contribute to project presentations and client meetings with visualizations and design briefs. Qualification Criteria Qualifications: Graduate or Diploma in Architecture from a recognized institution. Minimum 2-3 year of experience in urban infrastructure projects. Should have worked on Tourism/Urban projects in past Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or ArchiCAD Ability to create detailed architectural drawings and 3D models Understanding of BIM workflows and tools (especially Revit) Basic understanding of structural systems, materials, and construction techniques. Familiarity with building codes and IS standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
