Role Summary
The Presales Manager will play a strategic role in bridging the gap between the sales, product, and delivery teams. This individual will lead presales efforts, translate client requirements into scalable SaaS solutions, prepare effective demonstrations and proposals, and ensure seamless transition from presales to implementation. The ideal candidate must exhibit strong domain knowledge, technical proficiency, commercial insight, and excellent communication capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solutioning & Requirement Understanding
- Collaborate with sales and clients to understand business goals and functional/technical requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions and define solution fitment.
- Support effort estimation, dependency mapping, and change request impact assessments.
2. Technical & Product Expertise
Demonstrate deep understanding of the company’s fintech SaaS offerings.- Map client needs to product features and licensing structures.
- Configure and manage demo environments and map use cases for client presentations.
3. Proposal, Documentation Management & Product Demo.

Own and support the creation of RFP/RFQ responses, Statements of Work (SOWs), and pricing sheets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and internal delivery capabilities.

Plan, prepare, and deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to client use cases and decision-makers.

Identify commercial risks, delivery challenges, and implementation constraints during the presales cycle and document them for mitigation.

Maintain documentation standards including version control, consistent use of tools & templates, and repository management to ensure reusability and traceability.

Ensure timely delivery of all presales artifacts with stakeholder reviews and sign-offs where required.
4. Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Drive client presentations and solution walkthroughs with clarity and business value articulation.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure readiness for delivery – including context transfer, risk handoff, and dependency alignment.
- Manage client communication handoff to delivery teams during project kickoff.
5. Tools, Templates & Reporting
- Use tools like Excel, Microsoft Teams, and internal templates to ensure consistent documentation, effort calculations, pricing models, and feedback capture.
- Manage and update “Tools & Templates” repository regularly for use across the presales function.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback for continuous improvement of solutioning and proposal processes.

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Business.
MBA or equivalent
Prior experience in the fintech or SaaS will be given preference
