We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team in Kolkata. Position Summary: You will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR department by managing two key pillars: talent acquisition (50%) and HR generalist responsibilities (50%). You will be responsible for attracting top talent, ensuring seamless onboarding experiences, driving employee engagement initiatives, and acting as an HR business partner to align people strategies with business goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Talent Acquisition (50%) Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce planning needs and define job requirements. Develop and post job descriptions on relevant platforms to attract the right talent. Actively source and screen candidates using various platforms (job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, etc.). Conduct initial candidate assessments to ensure alignment with role requirements and culture fit. Coordinate interview schedules, manage candidate communications, and provide a positive experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Extend job offers, negotiate terms, and collaborate with HR Operations for smooth onboarding of new hires. Maintain and update recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, etc.) and present reports to the leadership team. 2. HR Generalist Responsibilities (50%) a. Employee Engagement: Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, including team events, celebrations, and wellness programs, to foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct regular pulse surveys to measure employee satisfaction and recommend actionable insights for improvement. Act as a cultural ambassador, ensuring initiatives align with the organizational values and promote collaboration and innovation. b. Employee Onboarding: Manage a seamless onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported. Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new hires to company policies, culture, and values. Partner with managers to create personalized onboarding plans for new employees to accelerate their integration and productivity. c. HRBP Activities: Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, concerns, and queries. Partner with business leaders to identify and resolve people-related challenges to support organizational goals. Assist in performance management processes, including goal-setting, appraisals, and feedback sessions. Support organizational development initiatives, including training programs and leadership development efforts. d. Administrative and Compliance Support: Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Assist in drafting and implementing HR policies based on organizational needs. Help identify process improvement opportunities to enhance HR efficiency and effectiveness. Skills and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required). MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification is preferred. Experience: 3–5 years of experience in an HR role with a strong focus on recruitment and HR generalist activities. Exposure to HRBP activities, employee engagement, and onboarding is highly desirable. Key Competencies: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and collaboration across teams. Proficiency in end-to-end recruitment processes and tools (ATS, job portals, LinkedIn, etc.). Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. An analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from HR data and metrics. Proactive, empathetic, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
