Job Description

As the People Officer (PO) at MV Hospital, your role involves providing both strategic and operational leadership to the HR function. You will be responsible for ensuring a high-performing, values-driven workforce by overseeing recruitment, compliance, and staff file/documentation management. Additionally, you will lead culture building, performance management, and staff engagement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with hospital goals. - Partner with the CEO on workforce planning, succession, and leadership development. - Drive organizational culture, staff engagement, and inclusion initiatives. - Formulate HR policies and ensure consistent communication across departments. - Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding. - Actively participate in shortlisting, interview design, and evaluation processes. - Ensure competency-based recruitment using rubrics and STAR methodology. - Build external partnerships for talent pipelines. - Maintain audit-ready documentation to support NABH and accreditation processes. - Manage and enhance the appraisal system, ensuring fairness and timeliness. - Introduce learning and development initiatives tailored to hospital needs. - Lead employee engagement, recognition, and well-being initiatives. - Define conflict resolution frameworks and ensure HR's role in conflict handling. - Liaise with the Internal Complaints Committee to ensure compliance with the POSH Act. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in HR/Business/Management or equivalent experience. - Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM/CHRP). - 10+ years of experience in HR/People functions, including recruitment, compliance, performance management, and staff engagement. - Experience in healthcare or service-driven organizations. - Strong knowledge of labor law & statutory compliance. - Excellent communication & influence skills. - Skilled in conflict resolution and coaching. - Experience with digital HR systems (HRIMS, LMS). - Previous leadership of HR teams in multi-site organizations.
