Years Job Description / responsibilities: System Administration and Automation: Develop and maintain Bash scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency. Ensure the stability and reliability of IPTV servers and infrastructure. Configuration Management: Deploy, configure, and manage IPTV services using Ansible, ensuring consistent and efficient operations. Monitor and maintain configuration standards across the environment. Container Orchestration: Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters for containerized IPTV applications. Ensure high availability, scalability, and efficient resource utilization of IPTV platforms. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including IPTV system errors and network performance challenges. System Monitoring and Optimization: Utilize monitoring tools to track IPTV system performance and identify potential bottlenecks. Collaboration and Teamwork: Support project deployments and ensure adherence to timelines. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides. Generate performance reports and suggest improvements based on findings. Linux Platform Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. Perform routine system administration tasks, including updates, backups, and recovery. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in Linux environments. Apply OS patches, upgrades, and manage system-level configurations. Develop and maintain documentation for system procedures and Linux architecture. Bash Scripting: Write, optimize, and troubleshoot Bash scripts to automate administrative and operational processes. Create custom scripts for system monitoring, log analysis, and application deployment. Ansible Automation: Implement and maintain Ansible automation for configuration management and provisioning tasks. Develop reusable playbooks to streamline server management and application deployment. Ensure compliance with security and performance standards in automated workflows. Kubernetes Orchestration (NEW): Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications. Monitor and optimize cluster performance, scalability, and resource utilization. Manage Kubernetes manifests, and container lifecycle processes. General IT Engineering: Support network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
