Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Specialist.
In This Role, You Will
- Research and resolve moderately complex operational tasks, accountable for entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure to include originating source documents, data adherence to regulations, processing payments, resolve discrepancies and process unique rejects or exceptions
- Work under close supervision, follow established procedures, identify opportunities to determine appropriate course of action within defined scope of responsibility
- Review and analyze inquiries and operational challenges that require research, evaluation
- Consult with management for more complex issues to assist with appropriate course of required action
- Analyze and present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing of understanding of policies, procedures and compliance regulations
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Process Improvement & Risk Management
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to escalate and address key risks.
- Assist in planning and executing initiatives focused on risk mitigation, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships across business and functional areas. This would include technology, risk partners, upstream and downstream teams along with US partners.
Quality check and reviews
- Review and interpret complex payment and transaction data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
- Ensure quality standards are met - Monitor methodology, scorecards, and reporting to maintain performance trends.
- Establish root cause analyses and develop comprehensive reports and recommendations.
- Ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of solutions.
- Act as the main point of contact for operational and technical queries.
Change Management and Governance
- Formulate white papers, drive change management initiatives. Access impact of changes on people and processes.
- Define success metrics and track change adoption.
Tracking and Monitoring
- Establish governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
- Perform trend analysis and provide regular reports and insights to leadership.
Training and Capability building
- Identify training needs, develop training plans and provide coaching and support to employees.
- Create strong bench of Subject Matter experts by partnering with other trainers.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong understanding of end-to-end operations, preferably in equipment finance and cash application processes.
- Ability to review and reconcile payment records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in root cause analysis and process improvements.
- Ability to work independently on complex projects with minimal supervision.
