Our commitment to quality, compliance, and innovation is at the heart of everything we do. Join us in our mission to make a tangible difference in the lives of patients worldwide.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to oversee our end-to-end production and manufacturing processes. This critical leadership role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective production of our medical devices. You will manage our manufacturing floor, lead a team of production staff, and be the cornerstone of our quality and supply chain operations, ensuring we meet all regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485) while achieving our production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Manufacturing Management:

  • Oversee the entire production lifecycle, from raw material intake to finished goods, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality medical devices.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, workflows, and capacity planning to meet sales forecasts and inventory targets.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Manage equipment maintenance, calibration, and validation schedules to ensure operational readiness and compliance.

Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all manufacturing activities strictly adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) standards, including FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485.
  • Lead and support internal and external audits (e.g., FDA, NB, corporate audits).
  • Investigate and resolve non-conformances, CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and customer complaints related to production.
  • Maintain impeccable documentation and batch records in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team, including supervisors, technicians, and assemblers.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement on the production floor.
  • Manage staffing, performance reviews, training, and professional development for the operations team.

Supply Chain & Inventory Control:

  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain/Procurement team to ensure a reliable supply of raw materials and components, mitigating any potential shortages.
  • Manage inventory levels (raw materials, WIP, finished goods) to minimize carrying costs while preventing stock-outs.
  • Oversee warehouse operations and logistics related to production materials and finished goods.

Budget & Cost Management:

  • Develop and manage the operations budget, controlling labor, material, and overhead costs.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing management role within the medical device industry.
  • In-depth, proven knowledge of FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 820) and ISO 13485 is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt certification preferred), and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and developing teams in a regulated environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary and performance-based bonus structure.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development in a innovative and life-changing industry.
