Job Title: Head – Sales (Indian Subcontinent)
Location: Mumbai, India
Reporting To: CEO
Team: Trade & Beneficiary Sales Teams

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head – Sales (Indian Subcontinent) to lead business development and relationship management across India and neighboring markets. This role is responsible for revenue growth, customer success, and stakeholder engagement across the shipping ecosystem, including Shipping Lines, Ports, Freight Forwarders, Custom Brokers, Partners, and Banks.

The position requires close collaboration with internal teams including Product, Tech, Support, and Finance, and will lead both the Beneficiary and Trade sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Revenue Growth
  • Define and execute the sales strategy across the region
  • Drive acquisition, retention, and expansion of key accounts on both the Beneficiary and Trade sides as well as with Partners
  • Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong senior-level relationships with Shipping Lines, Port Authorities, Freight Forwarders, Custom Brokers, Partners, and Banks
  • Represent organization in industry forums, customer meetings, and high-level discussions
  • Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a multi-regional sales team
  • Ensure coordination and synergy between Trade and Beneficiary sales teams
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product, Tech, Support, and Finance to align on solution delivery and customer success
  • Channel market insights and feedback into product and commercial strategy
  • Performance Management
  • Track KPIs, manage the sales pipeline, and deliver accurate forecasts
  • Present business reviews and performance updates to leadership

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: MBA from a premier institute; bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology preferred
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years in Sales, Business Development, or Customer Relationship Management
  • Prior experience in the LogiTech, Shipping, or Maritime domain strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to build and scale high-performing teams
  • Agile, strategic thinker with strong execution focus
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India and the subcontinent

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
