MIS Manager

Job Summary:

The MIS Manager will be responsible for leading the MIS (Management Information System) team and ensuring timely and accurate reporting of business data to support strategic decision-making. The role involves team management, implementation of the latest tools and reporting systems, and driving continuous improvement through data analytics and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide the MIS Executives to ensure timely preparation and submission of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Maintain and analyze sales, inventory, financial, and operational data for management review.
• Develop and improve MIS processes and dashboards using advanced Excel, Power BI, or other analytical tools.
• Implement and train the team on new tools and technologies to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with department heads (Sales, Accounts, Logistics, HR, etc.) to ensure smooth data flow and coordination.
• Ensure data integrity and maintain proper backup and documentation of all reports.
• Automate recurring reports and streamline manual processes for time efficiency.
• Analyze business trends and present insightful data summaries to management for informed decisions.
• Conduct regular team meetings, training, and skill enhancement sessions for MIS staff.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management related to data reporting, analysis, or system improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in MIS operations, reporting, or data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel (advanced level), Power Query, Power BI, or similar analytics tools.
• Experience in team handling and workflow management.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and database management preferred.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and generate meaningful insights.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Continuous learner with a passion for adopting new technologies and analytical tools.
