Role Overview: As a Systems Analyst at our company, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain management information systems. This includes working on databases, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms. You will be expected to analyze data from various sources, identify trends and patterns, and present these insights in a clear and concise manner to the management team. Additionally, you will create and maintain documentation for MIS systems, provide support and training to users, contribute to strategic planning, and identify opportunities for process improvement through technology and data analysis. Key Responsibilities: - System Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain management information systems, including databases, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms. - Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Present findings to management. - MIS Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for MIS systems to ensure smooth operations. - System Support and Training: Provide support and training to users on utilizing MIS systems effectively. - Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning related to technology and information systems alignment with business goals. - Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology and data analysis. Qualifications Required: - Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and macros), data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI), database management systems, and ERP software. - Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. - Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective presentation and collaboration. - Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to MIS systems and data. - Project Management: Ability to manage projects related to MIS development and implementation. - Industry Knowledge: Understanding of data privacy regulations, data governance principles, and industry-specific data management practices.
