Role Overview

The Technical Product Analyst & Project Manager bridges the gap between product vision and engineering execution—and owns delivery from planning through completion. This role is responsible for translating high-level project concepts, prototypes, and product requirements into comprehensive, developer-ready documentation—including epics, user stories, tasks, subtasks, and sprint plans with accurate timelines.

Crucially, this is not just a planning role. Once the roadmap is defined, the analyst takes ownership of project execution, managing the development team, tracking progress against the timeline, removing blockers, and ensuring successful delivery within the committed schedule and quality standards.

A strong technical foundation is essential: the analyst must identify potential API/SDK integrations, assess architectural complexity, flag technical risks, and provide realistic effort estimates that guide project planning and client commitments.

Responsibilities:

Story Creation & Breakdown

• Analyze product prototypes, wireframes, and requirement documents from a code/engineering perspective.
• Decompose large projects into well-structured Epics → Stories → Tasks → Subtasks.
• Write clear, actionable user stories with acceptance criteria following industry standards (e.g., INVEST principles).
• Define Definition of Done (DoD) for each deliverable.

Timeline & Sprint Planning

• Estimate effort and timelines for each task and subtask (in hours/story points).
• Organize deliverables into logical sprints (typically 1–2 weeks).
• Identify dependencies, blockers, and critical path items.
• Create Gantt-style or sprint-based delivery roadmaps.

Technical Analysis & Integration Mapping

• Identify required API and SDK integrations (e.g., payment gateways, authentication providers, third-party services).
• Research and document integration requirements, rate limits, authentication methods, and data contracts.
• Assess complexity levels (Low / Medium / High / Very High) with justification.
• Flag technical risks, unknowns, and areas requiring architectural decisions.

Project Management & Delivery Ownership

• Own end-to-end project delivery based on the roadmap and timelines created.
• Conduct daily/weekly standups and sprint ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives).
• Assign tasks to developers, track progress, and ensure accountability.
• Monitor sprint velocity and adjust plans proactively to meet deadlines.
• Identify and escalate blockers; coordinate with stakeholders to resolve dependencies.
• Manage scope changes through proper change control processes.
• Provide regular status updates to studio leadership and clients (progress, risks, milestones).
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards before release; coordinate with QA as needed.
• Drive projects to on-time, on-scope completion per the committed timeline.
• Conduct project retrospectives and document lessons learned.

Required Qualifications

Technical Foundation

• 3–6 years of hands-on software development experience (frontend, backend, or full-stack).
• Working knowledge of at least one modern stack: Node.js/TypeScript, Python, Java, or React/Next.js.
• Understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and common integration patterns.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL), authentication flows (OAuth, JWT), and cloud services basics.

Project Management Skills

• Proven experience managing development projects from planning through delivery.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies; experience running sprints and ceremonies.
• Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining positive working relationships.
• Skilled at risk identification and mitigation—proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Experience tracking project health metrics (burndown, velocity, blockers).
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements.

Product & Agile Skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with exposure to sprint planning and backlog management.
• Ability to read and interpret wireframes, prototypes (Figma), and PRDs.
• Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical tasks.
• Proficiency with project management tools: Jira, Linear, Notion, Trello, or equivalent.

Work Arrangement

• Fully remote within India.
• Project-based engagement with potential for continuous, long-term work.
• Payment released monthly based on deliverables completed.
• Expected availability during project execution phase for team coordination and blocker resolution.
