Job Description

We are a leading manufacturer and marketer of edible oils in both mustard and refined oil segment, based in Chandigarh, INDIA since 1976. Job Overview

The Marketing Head will be responsible for leading and driving the overall marketing strategy for the company. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can strategically position the brand in the market, manage large-scale marketing operations, and ensure consistent growth in market share and consumer loyalty. The individual will oversee all aspects of marketing, including brand management, product positioning, advertising, digital marketing, market research, and public relations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning and Execution

o Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the company’s products and brand.

o Identify market opportunities, consumer trends, and competitor activities to adjust marketing plans accordingly.

o Set clear marketing goals, KPIs, and metrics to track the success of campaigns.

2. Brand Management

o Lead brand strategy and ensure the consistency and integrity of the brand across all marketing channels.

o Oversee the development of packaging, labeling, and all branded materials in line with the company's visual identity and brand guidelines.

o Manage brand positioning and communication to build and maintain strong consumer associations.

3. Market Research and Consumer Insights

o Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, preferences, and trends within the edible oil category.

o Analyze competitors' strengths and weaknesses to identify gaps and opportunities in the market.

o Use consumer insights to refine product offerings and promotional strategies.

4. Digital Marketing and Social Media

o Oversee digital marketing initiatives including social media, search engine optimization (SEO), email campaigns, and influencer partnerships.

o Develop and manage content strategies to build online presence and engage customers through various digital platforms.

o Monitor digital performance and adapt strategies to optimize return on investment (ROI).

5. Advertising and Promotions

o Develop advertising campaigns across traditional (TV, radio, print) and digital channels (online, social media, etc.).

o Plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive product awareness, sampling, and sales.

o Manage budget allocation for different advertising platforms and ensure effective use of resources.

6. Sales and Distribution Collaboration

o Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales targets.

o Develop strategies for channel marketing and distribution networks to maximize product reach.

o Collaborate on trade marketing initiatives and ensure product availability across key retail locations.

7. Public Relations and Corporate Communications

o Build and manage relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and industry stakeholders.

o Oversee public relations campaigns and company reputation management.

o Organize press conferences, events, and product launches as part of PR efforts.

8. Team Leadership and Development

o Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, setting clear expectations and goals.

o Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure team development.

o Foster a collaborative work environment to drive innovation and creativity.

9. Budgeting and Financial Management

o Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.

o Track marketing expenses and ROI, making adjustments where necessary to meet financial goals.

10. Reporting and Analysis

o Regularly report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives to senior management.

o Utilize analytics and data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

· Education:

o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.

· Experience:

o Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.

o Proven experience in the food or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector, preferably with edible oils or similar products.

o Strong track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies, brand management, and campaign optimization.

o Experience managing large teams and collaborating across functions (sales, R&D, production, etc.).

· Skills and Competencies:

o Excellent understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and digital marketing strategies.

o Strong leadership and team management skills.

o Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

o Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.

o In-depth knowledge of budget management and ROI analysis.

o Proficiency with marketing software tools and platforms (CRM, Google Analytics, social media tools, etc.).

Compensation:

Competitive salary package, benefits, and performance-based incentives.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
