As a Marketing Head at our leading edible oils manufacturing company based in Chandigarh, INDIA, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the overall marketing strategy. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive marketing strategies, overseeing brand management, conducting market research, managing digital marketing initiatives, planning advertising campaigns, collaborating with sales and distribution teams, leading public relations efforts, nurturing team development, managing budgets, and analyzing campaign performance. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Planning and Execution: - Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies. - Identify market opportunities, consumer trends, and competitor activities. - Set clear marketing goals, KPIs, and metrics. - Brand Management: - Lead brand strategy and ensure brand consistency. - Oversee packaging, labeling, and branded materials. - Manage brand positioning and communication. - Market Research and Consumer Insights: - Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior. - Analyze competitors" strengths and weaknesses. - Utilize consumer insights to refine product offerings. - Digital Marketing and Social Media: - Oversee digital marketing initiatives. - Develop content strategies and engage customers online. - Monitor digital performance and optimize ROI. - Advertising and Promotions: - Develop advertising campaigns across traditional and digital channels. - Plan and execute promotional campaigns. - Manage budget allocation for advertising platforms. - Sales and Distribution Collaboration: - Work closely with sales team to align marketing initiatives and sales targets. - Develop strategies for channel marketing and distribution networks. - Collaborate on trade marketing initiatives. - Public Relations and Corporate Communications: - Build relationships with key media outlets and influencers. - Oversee public relations campaigns and company reputation. - Organize press conferences and events. - Team Leadership and Development: - Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals. - Provide training, guidance, and feedback. - Foster a collaborative work environment. - Budgeting and Financial Management: - Develop and manage the marketing budget. - Track expenses and ROI. - Make adjustments to meet financial goals. - Reporting and Analysis: - Report on marketing campaign performance. - Utilize analytics to refine strategies. - Drive continuous improvement. Qualifications and Experience: Education: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing or Business Administration. MBA preferred. Experience: - Minimum of 10 years in marketing roles, with 5 years in leadership. - Experience in the food or FMCG sector. - Strong track record in successful marketing strategies.
