Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented

Market Research Analyst

to support our Sales team by identifying new market opportunities, analyzing industry trends, and providing data-driven insights to guide prospecting, targeting, and strategic decision-making.This is a research-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys digging into data, mapping industries, and turning insights into actionable sales intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct market and industry research to identify potential customer segments, verticals, and geographies for outreach.
Analyze competitor strategies, customer behavior trends, and product positioning across markets.
Build and maintain a repository of key market insights, customer profiles, and company intelligence.
Map organizations to identify key decision-makers and influencers for strategic outreach.
Monitor and report on market developments, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities.
Collaborate with the Sales and Strategy teams to fine-tune go-to-market plans based on research findings.
Prepare concise research briefs and reports to support targeting and pitch personalization.

Requirements

2–3 years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or business research – preferably in a B2B or SaaS company.
Strong research and analytical skills, with proficiency in tools like LinkedIn, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Crunchbase, etc.
Hands-on experience with Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce is a plus.
Ability to extract and synthesize insights from both qualitative and quantitative data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
