About the team & role:

India Marketing COE - The India Marketing COE plays a critical role in scaling global marketing efforts by driving operational excellence, execution support, and data-driven insights across key functions. Our team partners closely with global stakeholders to ensure alignment, speed, and impact.

Rubrik is looking for a strategic and results-oriented Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of marketing workflows and strategic initiatives. This leadership role within the Marketing PMO will oversee project delivery, drive operational efficiency, and ensure alignment with broader marketing and business goals. The ideal candidate brings a strong project management foundation, experience in marketing operations and campaign execution, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex initiatives.

You’ll be a key driver of marketing process excellence, working closely with stakeholders across teams to deliver impactful outcomes. This position will report directly to the Marketing PMO function and will mentor junior team members while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the end-to-end management of marketing projects and workflows, ensuring timely and successful delivery across initiatives.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional marketing teams, including content, web, creative, digital marketing, social media, and email marketing functions to ensure coordinated execution.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior marketing stakeholders, identifying process inefficiencies and driving optimisation opportunities.
  • Establish and evolve project management standards, tools, and best practices within the Marketing PMO function (ex: SOP Library, documentation)
  • Build and manage cross-functional relationships to ensure clear communication, alignment, and delivery of marketing objectives.
  • Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and remove roadblocks that impact progress or outcomes.
  • Monitor project performance, generate insights, and present findings to leadership to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the marketing knowledge base to reinforce process consistency and operational alignment.
  • Lead and coach a team of project coordinators or specialists, fostering professional growth and strong team performance.
  • Create and deliver high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders and executives.

Experience you’ll need:

  • 8–10 years of project management experience, ideally in Marketing & Sales.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of people management experience, including leading high-performing teams and managing direct reports.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional marketing teams, including content, web, creative, digital, social media, and email marketing professionals.
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations, tools, and lifecycle workflows; a broad understanding of the overall marketing function is a strong advantage.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and analytical, with a passion for building efficient processes and scalable systems.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills; able to influence across levels and functions.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Asana, JIRA, GSuite; familiarity with marketing automation systems is a plus.
  • Experienced in Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
  • PMP, CSM, or similar certifications are a strong advantage.

Location & Work Hours

  • Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka (Hybrid)
  • Work Hours: 2 PM - 11 PM IST.
