The Team
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior HR Specialist to join the North America Regional People Operations team. In this hybrid role, you will help drive a consistent and compliant onboarding and offboarding experience across multiple business units, partnering closely with HR Business Partners and internal teams. Key responsibilities include coordinating background checks, managing contingent worker processes, supporting I-9 and asset logistics compliance, and processing employee lifecycle transactions in Workday. You’ll also conduct exit interviews, manage confidential data with discretion, and lead reporting and analysis efforts to identify trends and recommend process improvements.This role requires 2–3 days per week onsite, with flexibility to increase office presence based on business needs.
How You Will Contribute
As a member of the team, you will:
- Hands-on experience with Workday HRIS (required).
- Oversee contingent worker processes across the U.S., with occasional support for workers outside the region.
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process, including coordination of company assets (e.g., laptop delivery and collection).
- Process and track extension requests for contingent workers.
- Generate reporting on workforce volume, utilization, and trends to provide leadership with actionable insights.
- Streamline, optimize, and maintain contingent workforce processes within Workday, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage and participate in projects related to contingent workers, while documenting standard operating procedures and updating process materials as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance, scalability, and user experience.
- Oversee contingent workers’ classifications to ensure they are properly classified.
- Partner with People Operations, Finance, and Procurement teams to align contingent worker policies and practices, which may extend on a global scale
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6+ years of experience managing contingent workforce programs, subcontractor/vendor management, or related HR/operations roles.
- Hands-on experience with Workday HRIS (required)
- Strong knowledge of contingent labor processes and compliance considerations.
- Proven ability to build, document, and optimize processes for efficiency and scale.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to identify trends and provide insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
