Job Description

Job Title: MIS Manager

Experience: 2-4 years

Location: IB Patel road, Near Upkar Hotel, Opp Balaji Steels, Goregaon, Mumbai


Role Overview:

The MIS & Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting, while also leading the MIS function to provide timely and accurate business insights. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting automation to support strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

Accounts & Finance

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, General Ledger, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing of books.
  • Review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments for compliance and accuracy.
  • Manage statutory compliances – GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings.
  • Liaise with auditors (statutory, tax, and internal) and ensure smooth completion of audits.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

MIS & Reporting

  • Develop and manage MIS reports (daily/weekly/monthly) for management and business heads.
  • Track and analyze key business metrics (Revenue, Costs, Margins, KPIs).
  • Automate reporting processes and dashboards using Excel/Power BI/Tableau.
  • Provide insights and recommendations through trend analysis and variance reporting.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, HR, Supply Chain) to gather data and standardize reporting formats.
  • Support management in strategic decision-making with accurate financial and operational analysis.


Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (Indian GAAP, IFRS preferred).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally/MS Dynamics) and MS Excel (advanced).
  • Experience in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good understanding of statutory compliance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and work cross-functionally.
