What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a seasoned
Managed Services Lead
with strong expertise in
Data Engineering, Reporting, Data Analysis, and Data Management
. The ideal candidate should have led large delivery teams, overseen technology-driven service operations, and played a key leadership role at a department or office level. This role involves end-to-end ownership of service delivery, project governance, stakeholder management, building a Center of Excellence (CoE), and enabling scalable managed service operations.
What Youll Do
Service Delivery & Leadership
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of Managed Services across multiple client engagements.
- Serve as the department or site lead, providing strategic direction, operational oversight, and performance management.
- Manage and mentor a large team of 20+ cross-functional resources including data engineers, analysts, reporting specialists, and technical leads.
- Oversee workforce planning, capacity forecasting, resource deployment, and skill development initiatives.
Project & Program Management
- Drive project governance including project charters, planning, scoping, and execution oversight.
- Establish, track, and report KPIs, SLAs, operational metrics, and performance indicators for service excellence.
- Ensure risk mitigation, issue resolution, and continuous improvement across managed service programs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and client leadership teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business outcomes.
Technology & Data Management
- Lead solution design and review across Reporting, Data Engineering, and Data Analysis initiatives.
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integration workflows.
- Guide teams in building and managing data products, dashboards, and visualization solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.
- Define and enforce data governance, quality frameworks, documentation standards, and best practices.
Center of Excellence (CoE) Development
- Build and scale a Data Engineering and Reporting CoE to standardize delivery practices and reusable frameworks.
- Define capability development roadmap, training structures, competency frameworks, and knowledge repositories.
- Introduce automation, accelerators, and delivery playbooks to enhance productivity and delivery consistency.
Must have
- Minimum 15+ years of overall experience with significant hands-on exposure to:
- Data Engineering
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar)
- ETL / Data Integration Tools
- Data Product and Data Management Solutions
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams of 30+ resources in a delivery or operations environment.
- Demonstrated experience acting as Department / Practice / Office Lead or equivalent leadership capacity.
- Strong project management background with expertise in chartering, scoping, planning, monitoring, and governance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in building or scaling Centers of Excellence (CoEs) is highly desirable.
