Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Logistic Specialist to manage end-to-end logistics operations for our D2C business. The role involves overseeing order fulfillment, warehousing, inventory management, shipment processing, and last-mile delivery. The Logistic Specialist will be responsible for ensuring smooth coordination with courier partners, reducing NDR/RTO cases, improving delivery performance, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Overall Logistics Operations:

  • Manage and oversee daily logistics activities including order fulfillment, inventory management, dispatch planning, and shipment processing across warehouses.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery while meeting SLA commitments.

2.Courier Partner Management:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with courier partners such as Delhivery, ATS, Xpressbees, Bluedart, etc.
  • Coordinate daily dispatches, service escalations, and performance improvements.

3.Delivery Performance & Optimization:


  • Reduce delivery time, improve first attempt delivery (FAD) rates, and minimize return-to-origin (RTO) and fake delivery attempts.
  • Track and analyze delivery KPIs, reattempt rates, NDR (Non-Delivery Reports), and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer delivery experience and reduce losses.

4.Issue Resolution:


  • Handle lost, damaged, or misrouted shipments by coordinating with courier partners for quick resolution and compensation.
  • Manage fake attempted shipments and ensure freight charges are waived off with proper credit note adjustments.

5.Reporting & Analytics:


  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on shipment performance, fake attempts, NDR, and RTO.
  • Provide insights through data analysis to drive continuous process improvement at state city and pin code level.

6.Customer & Courier Follow-up:


  • Act as the logistics point of contact for customers, addressing delivery-related concerns and ensuring quick resolutions.
  • Ensure proactive coordination with courier partners to resolve escalations.

7.Warehousing & Inventory Management:


  • Oversee inventory management across all warehouses, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
  • Plan material dispatch from central warehouse to regional warehouses.
  • Continuously optimize warehousing processes (receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping) to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

8.Continuous Process Improvement:


  • Review existing logistics workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Leverage data and analytics to streamline operations and improve SLA adherence.

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of D2C logistics, warehousing, and last-mile delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with courier partners (Delhivery, Ecom Express, Xpressbees, Bluedart, Shiprocket etc)
  • Proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting, and data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to handle escalations and deliver customer-focused solutions.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2–4 years of experience in D2C logistics, e-commerce operations, or supply chain management.
