We’re hiring an Lead Generation Specialist who can help us identify, qualify, and engage potential clients across our target markets. You’ll be responsible for building a pipeline of prospects and booking meetings with high-intent leads for our founder/sales team.
This role is ideal for someone with outbound SDR or lead-generation experience in agencies, marketing services, or B2B environments and is looking to grow into a full sales/growth role.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Research
- Research and identify potential clients (eCommerce brands, DTC stores, SaaS founders, local businesses, agencies, etc.) in target geographies
- Work closely with the founder to refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) for SEO, Performance Marketing, and Analytics services
- Build and maintain segmented lead lists using Apollo, LinkedIn, store directories, competitor research tools, and manual qualification
- Enrich leads with website insights, competitor gaps, traffic data, and personalization hooks
Outreach & Engagement
- Run outbound campaigns across Apollo & Instantly (cold email focus)
- Personalize first-contact messaging based on website audit findings, competitor insights, and SEO/ads gaps
- Create short, clean, non-spammy outreach sequences for different ICPs
- Follow up consistently with warm leads via email + LinkedIn until they convert into meetings
Lead Qualification
- Do initial qualification to understand need, budget range, timeline, and service fit
- Evaluate whether the prospect is a good match for Funnele’s SEO or performance marketing services
- Book intro calls with the founder/sales team and ensure smooth transition
- Prepare quick notes or mini-briefs for the sales team before handoff
Pipeline Management & Reporting
- Maintain updated lead and campaign status inside Apollo / Sheets / CRM
- Track open rates, reply rates, positive replies, meetings booked
- Share weekly performance reports including learnings and suggestions
- Recommend improvements to messaging, angles, ICPs, and tools based on campaign data
Collaboration
- Work with the founder to align on niche targeting and strategic messaging
- Coordinate with marketing to use case studies, success stories, and audits in outreach
- Provide market feedback: objections, pricing sensitivity, common issues, industry trends
- Assist in improving outbound systems, templates, and research processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in B2B outbound lead generation, SDR work, or appointment settin
- Digital marketing understanding is a must including basic knowledge of SEO, paid ads, landing pages, funnels, traffic sources, and how agencies deliver results
- Experience generating leads for a digital marketing agency, SEO agency, or B2B service company is preferred
- Hands-on experience with Apollo, Instantly(or similar cold outreach tools) and Linkedin
- Ability to research websites, identify issues, competitor gaps, and use them as personalization angles
- Strong written English (Clear, concise, value-driven messaging is a must)
- Ability to consistently book meetings via cold email
- Understanding of ICPs, segmentation, personalization frameworks, and deliverability basics
- Comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and managing daily performance KPIs
- Quick response time to warm leads
