Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and grow relationships with key clients. The role involves account management, lead generation, revenue growth, cross-selling, upselling, and coordination with internal teams to achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate should be client-focused, data-driven, and skilled in CRM-based sales management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of key customer needs, requirements, and business objectives.
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing key accounts by proposing effective solutions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of correct products, offers, and services to customers.
  • Achieve revenue targets from assigned key accounts and defined segments.
  • Generate leads for all related products and services as per KRA/KPI.
  • Track and ensure achievement of individual and team sales targets.
  • Support other managers in joint account handling and team-based target achievement.
  • Build strong trust-based relationships with major clients to prevent competition leakage.
  • Drive new sales opportunities and convert them into long-term business relationships.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for stakeholders.
  • Effectively use CRM software to manage client data, pipeline, and reporting.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Proven experience in Key Account Management or B2B sales.
  • Strong lead generation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Data-driven approach with ability to analyze sales performance and trends.
  • Strong teamwork, leadership, delegation, and coordination skills.
  • Experience in upselling and cross-selling products/services.
