About The Opportunity

A role within the Industrial Manufacturing — Quality Control & Analytical Laboratory Services sector. We are hiring a Junior Lab Assistant to support remote laboratory operations, digital sample management, and QA documentation workflows for production and testing teams. This remote position focuses on accurate data handling, LIMS-driven tracking, and coordinating lab activities with on-site technicians and vendors.

Role & Responsibilities

Coordinate receipt, chain-of-custody, and digital logging of samples using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), ensuring accurate metadata and timestamps.
Perform timely data entry, validation, and basic analytics of test results; flag discrepancies and escalate quality issues to technical leads.
Prepare and document reagent recipes, standard solutions, and sample labels; maintain calibration and maintenance records by scheduling and tracking activities with on-site teams.
Support QA/QC workflows by compiling test reports, generating trend logs, and initiating corrective action requests when out-of-spec results are detected.
Manage consumables and reagent inventory virtually—create procurement requests, monitor reorder points, and coordinate deliveries with suppliers.
Maintain and update SOPs, safety documents, and training records; run remote onboarding and refresher sessions for field/contract lab staff as required.
