Junior ELV Engineer (PMS/PGS/ACS) - Dubai/UAE

Parkomax is seeking a Junior ELV Engineer – Parking & Access Systems (PMS/PGS/ACS) to support technical discovery, solution design, presales, and project implementation for our Parking Management Systems (PMS), Parking Guidance Systems (PGS), and Access Control Systems (ACS).

You will translate customer requirements into robust, deployable solutions; run demos and POCs; participate in site surveys; and support delivery teams during installation, commissioning, and handover. The role blends presales engineering, project implementation exposure, stakeholder communication, and technical troubleshooting.

• Discovery & Qualification: Conduct site and virtual surveys; capture use cases, constraints, and success criteria; refine customer requirements with technical clarity.
• Solution Design: Architect end-to-end PMS/PGS/ACS solutions (ANPR/LPR, RFID/QR, access control panels, controllers, sensors, gate barriers, kiosks/POS, payment flows, integrations).
• Proposals & Estimation: Prepare SOWs, BOQ/BOM, drawings, layouts, and network diagrams; propose value-engineered alternatives while protecting margins.
• RFP/RFQ Response: Develop compliance matrices, technical narratives, method statements, and risk registers; coordinate with product, projects, and vendors.
• Demos & POCs: Deliver compelling demos/pilots; define acceptance criteria, track performance, and ensure technical success.
• Integration Readiness: Specify and validate integrations with ERP/HR systems, access control, ANPR, payment gateways/POS, and third-party systems; prepare API/SDK documentation and test plans.
• Stakeholder Enablement: Conduct client workshops, partner training, and internal technical knowledge sessions.
• Handover to Delivery: Prepare complete presales → delivery packages (drawings, configs, test plans, material lists, site readiness checklist).

• Project Implementation Assistance: Participate in installation, wiring checks, device configuration, and system setup (PMS/PGS/ACS/ANPR/access control).
• Commissioning Support: Assist project engineers during testing, calibration, and commissioning to ensure designs are deployed accurately.
• Site Troubleshooting: Diagnose hardware/software/network issues; perform root-cause analysis; document fixes; ensure learnings are fed into design standards.
• Snag Closure: Support site teams in closing technical snags and validating final system performance before customer handover.

• Maintain presales assets, including reusable templates, system blueprints, sizing tools, and checklists.
• Update user manuals, commissioning reports, integration specs, and troubleshooting playbooks.

• 1–4 years of experience in ELV, Access Control, Parking Systems, or Smart Mobility (presales or implementation).
• Hands-on experience with:
• Parking systems (PMS/PGS), access control panels, ANPR/LPR cameras, RFID/QR readers, gate barriers, sensors, kiosks/POS.
• Wiring, device mounting, controller configuration, and on-site setup (advantage).
• Strong IT/network basics: VLANs, IP addressing, PoE, VPNs, Windows/Linux basics, SQL fundamentals.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and payment gateway/POS flows.
• Comfortable with logs, packet captures, and diagnostic tools (serial/TCP utilities).
• AutoCAD proficiency (must).

• Clear communicator across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong documentation discipline and structured problem-solving mentality.
• High ownership; able to manage multiple bids and deadlines.

• Willing to travel across UAE/GCC for surveys, site visits, demos, and pilots.
• UAE driving license preferred.
• English mandatory; Arabic an advantage.

• Proposal turnaround time, win rate, and design accuracy.
• BOQ/BOM accuracy and variance during implementation.
• POC success rate against defined acceptance criteria.
• Reusability and adoption of created assets (templates, blueprints, documentation).
