Job Summary

JavaScript Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development:

  Design, code, test, and deploy modern web applications using JavaScript and related frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js).

• UI/UX Implementation:

  Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into responsive, interactive web interfaces.

• API Integration:

  Connect front-end components with RESTful APIs or GraphQL to enable dynamic data-driven features.

• Performance Optimization:

  Identify and resolve performance issues to ensure applications load quickly and run smoothly across devices and browsers.

• Code Quality:

  Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; adhere to coding standards and participate in code reviews.

• Collaboration:

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, contribute to planning and estimation, and deliver features on time.

• Testing & Debugging:

  Develop and maintain unit tests, participate in automated testing, and debug issues to ensure bug-free releases.

• Continuous Learning:

  Stay up-to-date with the latest JavaScript trends, frameworks, and best practices, and proactively share knowledge with the team.

Required Qualifications

• Education:

  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience:

  2+ years of professional experience developing front-end or full-stack web applications with JavaScript.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React.js, Angular, Vue.js, or similar).
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, and AJAX/XHR.
• Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git).
• Experience with build tools, package managers, and front-end tooling (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).

• Problem-Solving:

  Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Communication:

  Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Add on Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Exposure to back-end development (Node.js, Express, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and modern DevOps practices.
• Understanding of web accessibility (WCAG) and security best practices.
• Prior work in agile or scrum teams.
