IT Manager

The IT Manager – Infrastructure is responsible for leading and managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and efficiency across systems, networks, and cloud platforms. This role involves hands-on technical expertise in networking, servers, cloud, and SaaS platforms, along with managing domain hosting, web infrastructure, and a dynamic IT team that supports business operations 24/7.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Management

• Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.

• Manage Windows Server and Linux systems including installation, configuration, and patch management.

• Oversee virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox etc.) ensuring performance and availability.

2. Networking & Security

• Manage LAN/WAN, VPN, Firewall, and routing/switching infrastructure.

• Implement and monitor network security, access controls, and endpoint protection policies.

• Collaborate with ISPs and vendors for uptime, performance, and troubleshooting.

3. System, SaaS & Cloud Administration

• Administer Office 365 / Microsoft 365, Azure, and other SaaS platforms.

• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Servers, and Group Policies.

• Oversee cloud server, storage, and backup operations across hybrid environments.

4. Domain, Hosting & Web Management

• Manage domain registrations, DNS records, SSL certificates, and hosting accounts.

• Coordinate hosting renewals, migrations, and performance optimization.

• Administer WordPress websites and security hardening.

• Collaborate with developers or vendors to troubleshoot website issues and ensure uptime.

5. Team Leadership & Operations

• Lead, mentor, and manage the IT infrastructure and support team.

• Assign tasks, review performance, and ensure timely escalation and resolution of issues.

• Conduct regular training on IT systems, cybersecurity, and new technologies.

6. Asset & License Management

• Maintain a comprehensive inventory of IT assets, software licenses, and warranties.

• Ensure compliance with software licensing and information security standards.

7. Policy & Vendor Management

• Develop and enforce IT policies, SOPs, and security guidelines.

• Manage IT vendors, negotiate SLAs, and oversee external service providers.

8. Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement improvements for infrastructure performance, security, and cost efficiency.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and evaluate tools to enhance IT operations.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, Firewall, Switching, Routing)

• Expertise in Windows Server, Linux, and Virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V/ Proxmox)

• Hands-on experience with Office 365 / Microsoft 365 Administration, Azure, and Cloud Services

• Proficient in File Server, Active Directory, Group Policy Management, and Backup Systems

• Strong understanding of Firewall Management, Endpoint Security, and Patch Management

• Experience with Domain & Hosting Management and WordPress Administration

• Knowledge of SaaS Applications, Asset Management, and License Tracking

• Excellent team leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Strong documentation and communication abilities

Qualifications:

• Any Graduate

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or system administration

• Preferred Certifications: CCNA, MCSA, Azure Administrator
