Job Summary: The Sales Manager for FMCG will be responsible for overseeing and managing the sales activities of the company's consumer goods products within a designated region or market. Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional campaigns, discounts, and product launches to enhance brand awareness. Sales Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and submit detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior management. Analyze sales performance, track market trends, and competitor activity. Recommend pricing strategies and promotional offers based on market conditions and sales data. Budget Management: Manage sales budgets effectively, ensuring that costs are controlled while achieving sales targets. Monitor the allocation of resources for sales operations, ensuring optimal spending for maximum returns. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction. Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams about customer preferences and product performance. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all sales activities comply with legal regulations and industry standards. Keep accurate records of all sales transactions and customer interactions. Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus). Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Leadership Skills : Proven track record of leading and motivating sales teams to exceed targets. Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers, partners, and internal teams effectively. Analytical Skills : Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales figures and market data.
