Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve zonal targets in line with company goals in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers, Sales Officers, and Field Executives. Analyse sales trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and risks. Ensure effective channel management by building strong relationships with distributors, stockists, and key retailers. Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare sales forecasts, and performance reports. Coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure product availability and promotional support. Execute product launches, trade marketing initiatives, and promotional schemes effectively in the zone. Identify and drive expansion in underpenetrated markets. Ensure strict adherence to company policies, compliance, and ethical business practices. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to the sales team. Key Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). Experience: 8 to 12 years of experience in sales and distribution, preferably in FMCG/Consumer Goods/Pharma, with at least 2 to 3 years in a leadership role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills. Willingness to travel extensively across the zone. Age: 40-50 years. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Market share growth in the zone. Distribution reach and width/depth metrics. New market development and coverage. Team performance and capability development. Execution of marketing and trade initiatives.
