Job Title: Head of International Sales & Marketing - Metal Lifestyle Art products

1. Position Summary

Head of International Sales & Marketing

The ideal candidate possesses an extensive global business network and a demonstrated track record of achieving significant bulk sales growth in the home décor or hardware sectors.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Sales & Business Development (Bulk Export Focus)

  • Global Account Acquisition:

     Identify, pursue, and close 

    large-volume bulk orders

     with international importers, wholesale distributors, and regional master stockists across target territories.
  • Key Retailer Penetration:

     Strategically target and secure business relationships with major multinational home improvement, hardware, and mass-market retailers (e.g., 

    Home Depot, IKEA, Amazon Wholesale/Vendor Central, Wayfair B2B etc.

    ).
  • Sales Strategy & Targets:

     Develop and execute comprehensive international sales strategies, budgets, and aggressive volume targets for all product categories, ensuring sustained year-over-year export growth.
  • Negotiation & Contracts:

     Lead high-stakes negotiations for pricing, long-term supply contracts, payment terms, and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs).

B. Marketing & International Brand Positioning

  • Market Analysis:

     Conduct continuous analysis of international metal décor trends, competitive landscapes, and price points across key markets (e.g., modern laser-cut art vs. rustic wrought iron).
  • Trade Shows & Events:

     Lead participation in key international trade shows (e.g., Ambiente, High Point Market, Dubai International Wood & Wood Machinery Show) to generate high-quality B2B leads.
  • Product Line Strategy:

     Collaborate with the design and manufacturing teams to ensure the product pipeline meets international certification standards (e.g., 

    prop 65 compliance

    , powder coating standards, anti-corrosion).

C. Logistics & Operations Management

  • Export Documentation:

     Ensure seamless coordination with the logistics and finance teams regarding export documentation, customs clearance, and adherence to Incoterms (FOB, CIF, DDP).
  • Inventory Forecasting:

     Work closely with the manufacturing unit in India to forecast demand accurately, manage bulk production schedules, and ensure on-time dispatch of container shipments.

3. Required Qualifications & Experience

A. Core Experience (Mandatory)

  • 10+ years of progressive international B2B sales/export experience

     in home goods, hardware, furniture, or metal fabrication products.
  • Proven track record of annual export sales volume

     (candidates must quantify past sales success).
  • Direct experience selling bulk quantities to major multinational retailers

     (e.g., IKEA, Home Depot, Walmart, Target) or large-scale independent distributors.
  • Deep understanding of 

    Indian export procedures

    , incentives, and logistics for shipping heavy, large-volume goods globally.

B. Knowledge & Skills

  • Global Network:

     Established relationships with importers and buyers in the USA, Canada, Australia/NZ, and key GCC markets (UAE, KSA).
  • Financial Acumen:

     Strong capability in managing international payment risks, foreign exchange rates, and preparing landed cost analyses (LCA).
  • Product Knowledge:

     Technical understanding and quality requirements for decorative products.
  • Travel:

     Willingness to undertake extensive international travel (50%+) for buyer meetings, trade shows, and distributor oversight.
