We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Production Planner to join our team and ensure seamless production processes from material supply to dispatch. Position Overview: The Sheet Metal Production Planner will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the production workflow of sheet metal products. This role involves ensuring timely material supply and efficient production processes, aiming to meet customer delivery requirements and optimize operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage production plans for sheet metal fabrication, ensuring timely completion of orders. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely supply of materials required for production processes. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to facilitate smooth operations. Work closely with production teams to schedule and prioritize jobs based on customer demands and production capacity. Follow up on the progress of production to identify any potential delays and implement corrective actions as necessary. Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that all products meet company and industry standards before dispatch. Prepare reports on production performance, inventory levels, and material usage for management review. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste within the production line. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in the production environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 5 and above years of experience in production planning, preferably in the sheet metal or manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of production processes and supply chain management principles. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail. Proficient in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with experience collaborating across departments.
