Role Overview:

Instructional Designer


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design PowerPoint presentations for virtual sessions following brand guidelines.
  • Use infographics and storytelling strategies for enhancement of live learning.
  • Collaborate with performance marketing team to develop ad campaign scripts.
  • Plan the organization of shoots and oversee the production and timely delivery of ad campaign deliverables.
  • Experience with authoring tools (Articulate 360 – Rise and Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, H5P) and LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, etc.).
  • Design and develop curriculum, course modules, and interactive learning journeys tailored for online/hybrid delivery.
  • Partner with faculty and SMEs to convert academic or industry knowledge into structured, learner-friendly content.
  • Apply instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick) in an EdTech environment.
  • Create engaging e-learning modules, video scripts, assessments, case studies, and project-based learning experiences.
  • Integrate technology tools (LMS, authoring software, learning analytics) to enhance delivery and track learner progress.
  • Ensure content is aligned with program outcomes, industry relevance, and learner career goals.
  • Incorporate multimedia elements (animations, simulations, gamification, AR/VR) for higher engagement.
  • Collaborate with product, tech, and marketing teams to ensure content usability, scalability, and learner adoption.
  • Stay updated with global best practices in EdTech, instructional strategies, and emerging trends like AI in learning.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Learning Sciences, English Language or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience designing digital/online courses in EdTech or higher education.
  • Strong knowledge of pedagogy, adult learning principles, and competency-based education.
  • Ability to simplify complex topics and build structured, modular learning paths.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.


Preferred Skills:


  • Experience in higher education programs, certification programs, or MOOCs.
  • Understanding of learner analytics and adaptive learning pathways.
  • Exposure to AI-driven learning tools, gamification, and immersive technologies (AR/VR).
  • Ability to create assessments aligned with program outcomes and industry skill requirements.
  • Familiarity with global EdTech trends and learner engagement strategies.
