Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for an Instructional Designer to join our team to design engaging and effective instructional materials by analyzing learning needs across the organization. As an instructional designer, you will be responsible for developing training solutions that improve employee performance and support organizational goals. This role collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs), trainers, and stakeholders to create learning experiences across various formats, including instructor-led training (ILT), e-learning, virtual learning, job aids, and performance support tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify performance gaps and learning requirements.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to translate technical or complex information into clear, learner-friendly content.
  • Design, develop, and maintain learning solutions (e-learning modules, ILT, blended programs, microlearning, simulations, job aids, videos, etc.).
  • Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Agile Learning) to ensure training effectiveness.
  • Incorporate adult learning principles, learning science, and accessibility best practices into all training deliverables.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics; recommend improvements.
  • Manage projects and timelines to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Stay current on instructional technologies, learning trends, and industry best practices.
  • Support trainers and facilitators with facilitator guides, participant materials, and other resources.
  • Leverage authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, etc.) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deliver learning.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Instructional Design, Training & Development, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in instructional design or learning development.
  • Experience working with e-learning authoring tools and LMS platforms.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating successful learning solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, etc.) and multimedia development software.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and SMEs.
  • Creative problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI standards and accessibility (WCAG/508 compliance) is a plus.
  • You are available to work from home in US shift.
