Position Overview

experienced HR Operations Specialist

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HR operations, compliance with APAC labor laws, and the ability to oversee onboarding, offboarding, background verification (BGV), and visa processes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Background Verification (BGV)

• Coordinate and manage background verification for new hires in compliance with company and regional standards.

🔹 Onboarding & Offboarding

• Handle end-to-end onboarding: documentation, induction, and system setup.
• Ensure smooth offboarding including clearance formalities, exit interviews, and documentation.

🔹 Visa & Work Authorization Support

• Support visa and work permit processes (H1B, L1, etc.) including renewals and immigration compliance in coordination with legal and immigration partners.

🔹 Compliance & Legal

• Ensure HR operations align with APAC labor laws, company policies, and data privacy standards.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely updates.

🔹 Employee Support

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related queries.
• Guide employees on HR policies, benefits, and tools.

🔹 Process Improvement

• Continuously evaluate HR workflows and identify opportunities for process efficiency and compliance improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Human Resources, Business Administration

  , or related field.

• 3+ years

  of HR Operations experience, preferably supporting the

  APAC region

  in a global organization.
• Strong knowledge of

  APAC labor laws, HR compliance, and immigration procedures.

• Hands-on experience with

  onboarding, offboarding, and background checks.

• Excellent

  communication and interpersonal skills

  (fluent in English).
• Detail-oriented with exceptional

  organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with

  HRIS tools

  (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an

  IT or technology-driven company.

• Understanding of

  remote/hybrid work policies

  and related compliance.
• Exposure to

  multicultural and global HR practices.
