Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and people-centric HR Manager to lead the entire HR function for our upcoming Chennai park. This is a key leadership role responsible for building HR systems, driving compliance, supporting large-scale operations, and creating a strong workplace culture.



Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and lead end-to-end HR operations for the new Chennai park.
  • Implement HR strategies, systems, and policies aligned with Wonderla standards.
  • Drive manpower planning and ensure timely recruitment across all departments.
  • Oversee onboarding, induction, training, and development initiatives.
  • Ensure 100% statutory and labour law compliance, audits, and vendor compliance.
  • Drive employee engagement, grievance handling, welfare programs, and disciplinary processes.
  • Manage daily HR operations including attendance, shift planning, rostering, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address workforce needs.
  • Lead performance management, appraisals, and capability-building programs.
  • Prepare and manage HR budgets and cost-effective staffing practices.
  • Generate and present HR reports — attrition, manpower, compliance, training, and engagement.


Skills & Requirements

  • Proven experience as HR Head / HR Manager in hospitality, amusement parks, retail, or other large-format operations.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with senior leadership.
  • Experience managing large and diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in English and Tamil is mandatory.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends/holidays as per operational needs.
