Position Overview

The HR Executive will be responsible for managing and executing day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, employee engagement, payroll coordination, compliance, and HR administration. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing and recycling environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process (job postings, shortlisting, interviews, selection).
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
  • Conduct employee induction and onboarding process.

2. Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
  • Organize employee engagement activities, training, and welfare programs.
  • Maintain healthy employee relations and support retention initiatives.

3. HR Operations & Administration

  • Maintain employee records (attendance, leave, personal files, database).
  • Assist in payroll processing and ensure timely updates of employee data.
  • Manage shift schedules, overtime records, and manpower planning for plant operations.

4. Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, ESIC, PF, gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
  • Assist in drafting and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Support audits and inspections by maintaining proper documentation.

5. Performance & Training

  • Coordinate performance appraisal process and maintain evaluation records.
  • Identify training needs in coordination with management and arrange training programs.
  • Monitor employee growth and career progression initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
  • 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial setup.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliances.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR software/ERP systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
