Mechanical Head

As a Mechanical Head at Rwenzori Process Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in leading the mechanical and engineering functions at our PET recycling plant in Sanand, Ahmedabad. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of equipment such as shredders, washing lines, dryers, extrusion, SSP units, and utilities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading and managing all mechanical maintenance, installation, and engineering operations. - Developing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. - Coordinating with production and quality teams to ensure plant reliability and efficiency. - Implementing cost-effective maintenance practices while upholding safety and compliance standards. - Maintaining inventory of critical spares, consumables, and coordinating procurement. - Driving continuous improvement in machine performance, energy efficiency, and process optimization. - Leading and mentoring the mechanical maintenance team for skill development and performance. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. - 6-15 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in PET recycling/plastics/process industry. - Strong knowledge of PET recycling machinery, extrusion, and utilities. - Experience in handling preventive/predictive maintenance systems. - Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to manage teams and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
