New Horizons Child Development Centre, introduced for the first time in India the concept and practice of self-funded inter-disciplinary, measurable and outcome based rehabilitation where each child gets individual evaluation and intervention in a comprehensive, scientifically planned and documented manner. NHD is one of the largest multi-disciplinary, comprehensive and integrated child development centres in India. Founded in 2003, with currently 5 centres across Mumbai, NHD offers developmental services under one roof through a inter-disciplinary team headed by a Developmental Paediatrician. We are looking for a skilled and dynamic HR Executive with 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, employee engagement, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end HR operations, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities Payroll & Compensation: Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements. Handle salary structure, deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.), and reimbursements. Work closely with the finance team for payroll reconciliation and audits. Address employee queries related to salary, deductions, and tax computations. Employee Engagement & Relations Plan and execute employee engagement activities, team-building events, and recognition programs. Conduct regular pulse surveys and feedback sessions to improve employee satisfaction. Handle employee grievances and foster a positive workplace culture. Work on initiatives to enhance employee experience and retention strategies. HR Compliance & Legal Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and statutory regulations. Maintain records and filings for labor laws such as Shops & Establishment Act, Factories Act, PF, ESI, Gratuity, and Bonus Act. Assist in audits and liaise with government authorities when required. Keep track of industry updates and ensure company policies are aligned with legal changes. HR Operations & Policies Manage employee onboarding and exit formalities, including documentation and induction. Maintain and update HR policies in line with organizational goals and industry standards. Ensure proper maintenance of employee records, attendance, and leave management. Support performance appraisal processes and HR reporting. Requirements Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification. Experience: Minimum 3 years of HR experience with hands-on expertise in payroll, employee engagement, and HR compliance. Strong knowledge of payroll software (SAP, Zoho, ADP, etc.) and labour laws. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity. Proficiency in HRMS and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications Certification in Payroll Management or HR Compliance is an added advantage. Experience in handling HR operations in Healthcare Setup is a plus.
