Job Title: HR Generalist

Department: Human Resources
Location: Aundh, Pune
Reports To: Manager – HR

Position Overview:

The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, HR operations, performance management, and training coordination. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth HR processes and promoting a positive and engaging workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

· Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop effective job descriptions.

· Utilize various sourcing channels, such as job boards, social media, and networking events, to attract top talent.

· Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates’ suitability and interest in the role.

· Coordinate interview feedback and facilitate the offer process.

· Maintain candidate pipeline reports and recruitment metrics for management review.

Onboarding:

· Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, including preparing welcome packages, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating paperwork.

· Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure new hires have the necessary resources and access on their first day.

· Follow up with new employees during their probation period to ensure smooth integration and address early concerns.

HR Administration:

· Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.

· Support the HR team in administering HR policies and procedures.

· Coordinate attendance, leave management, and payroll data preparation.

· Ensure compliance with statutory and company-specific HR requirements.

Employee Relations:

· Address employee queries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.

· Assist in fostering a positive work environment and promoting employee engagement.

· Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programs.

· Provide support in handling disciplinary actions and grievance redressal processes as per company policy.

Training and Development:

· Support the coordination of training programs and professional development initiatives.

· Help in identifying training needs and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.

· Maintain training records and track learning progress of employees.

Performance Management:

· Assist in the administration of performance review processes.

· Support managers and employees in setting performance goals and providing feedback.

· Track confirmation, appraisal, and goal-setting timelines and ensure process completion within deadline.

Additional Responsibilities:

· Maintain and update the status of occupancy for company-rented flats of Mumbai and Pune, provided to doctors (currently 2 units of 2BHK).

· Ensure proper tracking and safekeeping of flat keys and maintain a record of possession and handover.

· Collect and verify attendance of maid staff (both male and female flat assignments) and process their monthly payments in coordination with the finance team.

Performance Management:

· Assist in the administration of performance review processes.

· Support managers and employees in setting performance goals and providing feedback.

· Track confirmation, appraisal, and goal-setting timelines and ensure process completion within deadline.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Executive role.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, employee engagement, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Attendance Softwares
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
