We are looking for a HR Generalist with over 4 years of experience in startup or high-growth environments. The ideal candidate is well-versed in recruitment, employee engagement, statutory compliance, and HR operations, with strong working knowledge of tools like Keka HRMS and Microsoft Office. You should be a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building HR processes from the ground up, and is passionate about creating a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage employee records and HR databases using Keka HRMS (preferred).
Administer day-to-day HR operations including attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and employee documentation.
Coordinate onboarding, confirmation, and offboarding processes with proper documentation and system updates.
Ensure timely compliance with all labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, etc.).
Liaise with compliance consultants and government authorities for filings and audits.
Support the execution of performance management processes and documentation.
Plan and implement employee engagement activities, team events, wellness initiatives, and internal communications.
Draft, review, and implement HR policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Address employee concerns and manage grievance redressal processes in line with organizational values.
Requirements:
Bachelor s/masters degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in startup or high-growth environments.
Strong experience in end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
Demonstrated ability to design and execute employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys, team-building events, and culture-building programs.
Solid understanding of HR operations, Indian labor laws, and statutory compliance processes.
Proficiency in using Keka HRMS is strongly preferred; experience with Zoho People or similar platforms is a plus.
Skilled in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality in all HR matters.
